Cell and Gene at the Abbey
Production, Scale-up and Global Harmonisation
Welcome to Cell and Gene Therapy conference in November 2021
‘Cell and Gene at the Abbey’
Organised by HiTech Health and sponsored by Cellexus, ChemoMetec, Miltenyi Biotec, Sexton Biotechnologies, Terumo, VivaBioCel and AccuScience, the conference aims to give you industry exposure and an understanding of how to solve the challenges with the manufacture and supply of these advanced therapies.
Cell and Gene Therapy products are at the forefront of regenerative medicine and involve complex manufacturing processes. These challenges will be addressed by an array of expert speakers who will talk about their experiences and regulatory requirements to supply these complex products. During the event, we will be exploring different manufacturing strategies for various Cell and Gene Therapy products such as CAR-T, NK Cells, MSCs, Viral Vectors and combination products and get demonstrations from the new technologies.
Our exciting list of speakers from Power List 2020 in Advanced Medicines includes Bruce Levine, Massimo Dominici and Qasim Rafiq who will talk about development and regulatory approvals, challenges in scaling up, supply chain and manufacturing and the opportunities to solve them.
We are delighted to have Niamh Curran from the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) who will provide an update on regulations and guidance for these advanced medicines with a focus on European requirements. The workshop will focus on the demonstration of new technologies. The closing session will be focused on investing in cell and gene therapies including Venture Capital raised by companies.
Do not miss the opportunity of this unique networking event in the spectacular 5 stars Glenlo Abbey Hotel in Galway where you will have a chance to network with speakers and attendees over fireside drinks and dinner on both evenings.
